Elizabeth’s practice focuses on spatial relationships within the minutiae of the everyday, developing work that is a response to natural compositions that exist within her surroundings.
She allows the work to follow an intuitive path, continually challenging the norm in both subject matter and method, whilst also facilitating a way of working that is both rhythmic and self-questioning.
Her latest project concentrates on multiple views seen from a fixed point within a confined space. The given restrictions of this study encourages the artist to view the subject with a greater intensity. Initially, what seems lacking in obvious merit as a source of inspiration slowly reveals itself as a plethora of content.
